Skin cancer diagnosis and management
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer, but when identified early and managed by a specialist, the vast majority of cases are successfully treated. Dr Memon provides a comprehensive consultant-led service for the diagnosis and management of all types of skin malignancies.
Pre-Cancerous Lesions

Early intervention on sun-damaged skin can often prevent invasive cancer from developing.

  • Actinic Keratosis: Also known as “solar keratosis,” these are rough, scaly patches caused by years of sun exposure. Dr Memon offers targeted treatments such as Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) and specialist field creams to clear these lesions effectively.
  • Bowen’s Disease: A very early form of skin cancer that is confined to the outermost layer of the skin. It is treated with precision to ensure it does not progress further.

  • Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC): Often presenting as a firm, scaly lump or crusty patch. Prompt surgical removal is essential to prevent local spread.
