Dr Aamir Memon is a highly experienced, award winning, GMC accredited Consultant Dermatologist.
He worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust for over 21 years, where he established a modern, effective and friendly unit that won a National Award. Dr Memon now provides a complete General Dermatology service in the private sector with easy access across several hospitals in the North West of England.
Areas of interest
Dr Memon has a particular interest and extensive experience in Surgical Dermatology. He has a large and busy practice in skin cancer, for which he offers both surgical and non-surgical treatments. The general population as a whole is now much more aware of the dangers of skin cancer. Dr Memon is actively involved in the prevention of skin cancer by providing a service for whole body examination and mole checks. Dr Memon has a special interest in Inflammatory skin diseases such as:

• Skin Pigmentation
• Lupus
His approach is to discuss in detail with his patients all the treatments available and offer the most appropriate option for their individual needs.
